1. Referral Source Dropdown Updated. We have moved Test/Prospective partner to the bottom of the list. For users going through who simply want to see MyFriendBen’s functionality and are not inputting real data, please use this as the referral source option. We have also moved Denver Human Services to appear after Jefferson County Human Services.
2. Updated income eligibility for Energy Outreach Colorado. This benefit uses a county-specific 80% of AMI to inform eligibility. We have updated values to reflect the latest values for eligibility.
3. Created a category model on the backend. This change to MyFriendBen’s backend allows for the ability to create caps on programs within a category if some of the benefits braid together, such that an individual would not receive the full individual value of each benefit.
4. Utility Bill Help Program. This benefit will reopen on November 1, 2024. We have updated eligibility rules for 2024 as well. Please note that MyFriendBen will now show Utility Bill Help Program in results until November 1 when it is available to the public again.
