1. Removed Pell Grant from Step 8. Since MyFriendBen no longer screens for Pell Grant, we have removed it as an option from Step 8 for users to indicate benefits they already have.
2. Bug Fix: Disclaimer checkboxes in other languages. We have fixed an alignment issue for the legal disclaimer checkboxes on Step 2 where the checkboxes were not aligned correctly on the page in other languages.
3. Bug Fix: Expenses. We have fixed an issue on the expenses where the “How much is this expense every month (example)” question was displaying the parenthetical incorrectly. We also fixed spacing/alignment issues on that question.
4. New Cobrands/Partners. Users will now see Teller County and Larimer County in the referral dropdown.
5. Changes to income dropdown for “Cash Assistance Grant”. We have updated this income dropdown line to read as “Government Cash Assistance (including Colorado Works/TANF). This income line has also been excluded from eligibility calculations for the following programs: TANF, CCCAP, Federal EITC, State EITC, Federal CTC, State CTC, FATC, Connect for Health / Premium Tax Credit, Medicaid, CHP+, Emergency Medicaid, and Family Planning Limited Medicaid.
6. Updates to SSI and Aid to the Needy and Disabled – Colorado Supplement. We have updated SSI unearned income limits and benefit values for 2025. Corresponding changes have been made for Colorado’s Aid to the Needy and Disabled Supplement.
7. Updated income eligibility/source income eligibility for Colorado Weatherization Program. MyFriendBen has updated to pull from a sheet created by the state that consolidates and updates income rules for this program. For each household, the program will apply the highest of 60% state median income, 80% county area median income, or 200% FPL
